You just gave the world another life … so what can you give back to yourself?

A postpartum doula offers support in your home after your little one arrives. They hold space and offer nurturing to you and your baby during what’s often referred to as the fourth trimester.

I center my postpartum work around slowing down. As women living in the United States, there is so much conscious and unconscious pressure to get back to what was before baby. From body, to work, to emotional life, there is a common (and natural) longing to be who you’ve always known yourself to be. The hard part about that is with the birth of a tiny human, also comes the birth of a new you. I center my postpartum work around creating a container to explore that newness, to explore the sweetness as well discomfort that can come with becoming a new parent, and to lend a helping hand where support is needed. My postpartum offerings include:

  • meal preparation

  • sibling integration

  • reiki treatment and light massage

  • feeding support

  • baby care education

  • overnight support

  • light cleaning and organization
